DAILY, DAVID DAVID DAILY - Cedar and Cocobola - 2003 $5000.00
2003, USA. Solid cedar soundboard, fan braced, cocobola back and sides with florid figuration, 650 mm scale, 52 mm nut width, 20th fret, gold Sloan "stippled" tuners, french polished finish. Dailys cedar sound is always on the bright side, thus it has the fullness expected from that wood with a near spruce-like clarity. More than enough projection for a concert hall. Daily guitars have been heard on the concert stage played by Scott Tennant, Andrew York, Ernesto Tamayo, and Alieksay Vianna. The soundboard was recently refinished and a hairline crack repaired between the bridge and the end of the guitar, now unnoticeable if you did not know about it. Some slight signs of use. A great sounding instrument with beautiful woods.
