TOM BLACKSHEAR – 1995 – Spruce and Indian

#226, USA.  Spruce soundboard, Indian rosewood back and sides, french polished, 652 mm scale, 52 mm nut width, Schaller tuners, fret marker VII.  All that is to be expected from Blackshear, beautiful sound, balance, projection, clarity.  Very good condition, some signs of use, the neck looks as true as when it was made, as does the soundboard shape in front of and behind the bridge.  French polish still looks great.  A faint 1 inch ding in the lower bout on the bass side is only apparent when the light catches it at an angle.  See photo.
