Description
1999, England. Solid spruce soundboard with “Taut” bracing system, quartersawn CSA back and sides, Rodgers tuners, 650 mm scale, 51 mm nut width, french polished soundboard. Following a stroke in 2013, Fischer discontinued building guitars. His guitars were constructed to provide many years of beautiful music making, and maintain their structural integrity. This is a prime example of his best work, and has been very well kept. The photos below show his exacting attention to detail was as demonstrated in the rosette, tie block, purfling and heel cap. Adorned with Rodgers tuners, the best in the world. The sound is brilliant and clear with distinct separation. Excellent projection. Slight signs of use, the most notable being a string burn behind the 3rd string. Fischer’s name speaks for his instruments. Expressive and collectable.
