Description
2025, Paracho. Lattice braced cedar doubletop soundboard, Cocobolo back and sides, 650 mm scale, 52 mm nut width, sound ports on both sides of heel, 14 mm raised fingerboard, 20th fret, 12 hole tieblock, double neck reinforcement, premium Der Jung tuners, lacquer finish, fret marker at VII. This instrument by Gabriel Hernandez is warm, lush and robust. Well balanced with trebles that speak out over the basses. Long sustain and excellent projection. The ports provide immediate response and the raised fingerboard makes access above the 12th fret easy. Lutherie in Paracho dates back to the 18th century with the art handed down through generations. These builders have kept up with the times, incorporating the latest innovations, as our instrument evolves. At any price point more sound is found in these guitars than would be expected. It has been over 5 years, and more than 70 instruments of handling Paracho guitars. Consequently we have settled on select luthiers whose work is superior.
