2022, Brazil – Solid Englemann spruce sound board with “bear claw” grain figuration, 6 fan asymmetrical bracing pattern, Indian rosewood back and sides, 650 mm scale, 53 mm nut width, satin lacquer finish, Gotoh tuners. Carlos Novaes is a lifelong luthier, now in his 60’s. His guitars are now the result of years of refining the sound of his instruments. The tone is full, round and musical. Clarity abounds with none of the edginess that spruce can be prone to. Lengthy sustain, and plenty of projection. Well played in, and opened up. First class workmanship, slight signs of use.
