2021, Paracho, Mexico. Solid cedar five fan braced soundboard, figured Palo Escrito back and sides, 650 mm scale, 51 mm nut width, armrest, fret markers V and VII, lacquer finish. Lutherie in Paracho dates back to the 18th century with the art handed down through generations. Handmade by Sr. Cano. The sound of this guitar sits right in the middle of the tone color spectrum. Good balance, projection and separation. A very musical instrument, more than one would expect at this price point, a testimony to the experience of a skilled luthier. Not a factory guitars that bears the label “handmade”. This guitar actually is.
